A leading Catholic boys' school in Richmond, West London, seeks a dedicated and inspiring Religious Studies Teacher to join their thriving department. The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering a deeper understanding of Catholic faith and traditions, as well as other world religions and ethical issues.
- Curriculum Expertise: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Religious Studies curriculum that promotes critical thinking, reflection, and spiritual growth.
- Faith Formation: Support the school's mission of faith formation, encouraging students to develop their own faith and values.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students, supporting their well-being and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Religious Studies education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of Catholic theology, scripture, and tradition, as well as knowledge of other world religions and ethical issues.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
