<p><span data-contrast="none">Under the general supervision of the Rental Supervisor, assists in the managing of short-term rental equipment, rents equipment in the Hawthorne Rent It Service rental fleet, and compiles information for reporting purposes.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559685":-5,"335559739":3,"335559740":259,"335559991":10}"> </span></p>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559685":0,"335559731":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240,"335559991":10}"> </span></p>
<ol>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Quotes customer daily, weekly and monthly rental rates and rents out the equipment.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Explains terms and conditions of the rental to the customer.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepares rental agreement, insurance form, invoicing and all required documents to consummate the transaction.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Arranges the delivery and/or pickup of equipment with the shop or contract haulers.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Keeps track of all equipment out on rent and in the rental fleet. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Logs daily activity. When equipment is not returned by specified date, customer is contacted and billed for additional days.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Responsible for collection of payment when customer is a “cash” customer. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Returns equipment, issues credit and handles additional billing as needed. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Upon return of equipment, checks for damage and coordinates with service for fueling, repairs, etc.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">With the approval by the Rental Supervisor, advises and bills the customer for the cost of repair for machine damage.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Gathers and compiles rental activity information and prepares and distributes equipment utilization report monthly.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Recommends models of equipment to be added or removed from the rental fleet.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Serves customers in a courteous and diplomatic manner.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintains a good working relationship with customers and other employees.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintains good communications with all contacts.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Ensures that messages receive prompt attention and sufficient information is provided to all callers in a courteous manner.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Keeps equipment records both manually and electronically (computer generated) and maintains their accuracy in a timely manner. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Keeps respective managers informed on all matters of managerial importance.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Possesses strong knowledge of Hawthorne Rent It Service (HRIS)equipment. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Understands and complies with HRIS credit policies.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Submits lost rental reports on a timely basis.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Acts as Administrator of Home Depot and other major account contracts.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
