Research Associate

Primary Responsibilities

• Contribute to CRSI’s multi-disciplinary research projects, including literature review, informational interviews, and data analysis. Projects often span physical science, engineering, and policy topics. 
• Support the development and maintenance of C-QuIP, CRSI’s public database of CDR information. The Research Associate will be responsible for the overall performance of the tool, plus maintenance of at least one specific section of the database, based on their past experience and knowledge.
• Respond to time-sensitive, rapid-turnaround inquiries from teammates and project partners on current events, policy developments, and scientific uncertainties. 
• Translate CRSI’s work into written materials and data visualizations for internal and external audiences, including academic publications, conference presentations, and mainstream writing (e.g., blog posts). 
• Represent CRSI at industry conferences and help execute CRSI-hosted events, including virtual webinars and in-person convenings. 
• Other duties that are reasonable and consistent with this position.
