Senior Research Engineer - Ethernet PHY & High-Speed Interconnect Research (m/f/d)
Huawei Research Center Germany- Seniority
- Senior
About the role
The Applied Network Technology Lab (ANTL) at Huawei's Heisenberg Research Center in Munich is shaping the future of Ethernet and high-speed interconnect technologies for next-generation AI and data center networks.
As data rates continue to scale beyond 100Gb/s per lane, traditional assumptions around physical layer design are increasingly challenged by signal integrity limitations, nonlinear effects and system complexity.
We are looking for an experienced researcher who is excited by solving these problems through advanced system modelling, signal processing and architectural innovation.
This is a research-driven role with direct influence on future technology directions, system architectures and industry standards.
You'll work closely with international research teams, collaborate with leading universities and contribute to the technologies that will underpin the next generation of high-performance networks.
