Research Associate/Senior Research Associate

<p>We are a well-funded biotech startup that has developed a suite of proprietary technologies combining ultrahigh throughput single-cell functional screening with computational AI models to advance the development of immunotherapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases. We are currently looking for a research associate to join our interdisciplinary team. The candidate is expected to adapt quickly and communicate well, especially in a fast-paced startup environment. We pay competitive salaries with bonus and equity, plus full benefits that include medical, dental, vision, 401k match, commuter benefits and daily lunch.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Carry out a variety of cell biology tasks, including mammalian cell culture, virus harvesting, and transfections/transduction of various cell lines.</li> <li>Isolate and engineer primary T cells using different techniques.</li> <li>Perform functional assays to evaluate T cell responses.</li> <li>Assist with molecular cloning tasks including design, PCR, gel extraction, transformation, plasmid preparation, and sequence analysis.</li> <li>Collaborate with team on other experiments when needed.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.</li> <li>Skill sets required: molecular cloning, flow cytometry, ELISA, cell line and primary T cell culture, and lentiviral transduction.</li> <li>2+ years of industry experience.</li> <li>Responsible, accountable, and detail-oriented</li> <li>Detail oriented, excellent organization skills and communication skills.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to haves:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Understanding of T cell immunology.</li> <li>Experience with TCE development.</li> <li>Experience with NGS sequencing and analysis.</li> </ul> <p>Shennon Bio is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.</p> <p><strong>Job Type: </strong>Full-time, Mon-Fri</p> <p><strong>Benefits</strong>: Daily lunch + Commuter benefits + Health insurance (Medical, Dental and Vision, 100% premium covered for Gold plan) + life insurance, flexible time off and sick leave, unlimited healthy snacks and drinks.</p> <p><strong>Company Culture: </strong>Collaboration, Ownership and Authenticity.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
