Overview
Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers (DTAC) is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Behavioral Health Technicians (RBHTs) to join our Residential Treatment Facility team in Cranberry Township, PA.
In this role, you will help create a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for adolescents receiving behavioral health treatment.

Position Summary
The Registered Behavioral Health Technician provides direct supervision, behavioral support, and therapeutic engagement to youth in a residential setting. This role focuses on maintaining safety, structure, and consistency while supporting individualized treatment goals.
Schedule
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
- Full-time and part-time opportunities
- Weekends and holidays as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety, supervision, and well-being of all clients
- Support daily routines and structured programming
- Build professional, supportive relationships with youth
- Utilize trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
- Monitor behavior and communicate concerns to clinical staff
- Facilitate recreational, life skills, and community activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Ensure proper supervision ratios at all times
- Collaborate with clinical, nursing, and leadership teams
- Assist with transportation and off-site activities
- Maintain compliance with policies and regulations
Qualifications
Required:
- Active RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
Education Pathways (one required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field (preferred)
- Associate degree or 60 college credits with relevant experience
- High school diploma/GED with significant related experience
Preferred Experience
- Experience with adolescents in behavioral health or residential settings
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
- Strong documentation and observation skills

Work Location
This is an in-person position based in Cranberry Township, PA. Candidates must be able to reliably commute.
