Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by The Old Saloon.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
  • Ensure all food items are prepared in a timely manner for service during peak hours.
  • Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management of necessary reorders.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective service during busy periods.
  • Assist in the training and onboarding of new kitchen staff as needed.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • Solid knowledge of cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality food preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
