<p>A Restaurant Supervisor (hourly) oversees daily front-of-house, back-of-house operations and/or Off Premise including Cashier and Catering areas, ensuring high-quality service, guest satisfaction, and compliance with health regulations. If hired, positioning will be discussed during the interview and offer stages.&nbsp; They manage staff shifts, assist in training, handle customer complaints, and oversee inventory. Ideal candidates have proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.&nbsp; Work week could potentially be 40 to 45 hours per week including weekends.&nbsp; Shifts could vary and will be discussed if interviewed.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://www.toojays.com/">TooJay’s Deli • Bakery • Restaurant</a>&nbsp;is&nbsp;a Florida-based chain specializing in New York-style deli favorites, homemade comfort food, and scratch-made baked goods. Founded in 1981 on Palm Beach island, the brand currently operates 20 plus restaurants including a centralized Bakery, Commissary and Warehouse. Our locations are spread throughout South and Central Florida.&nbsp;</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Operational Leadership: Manage daily shifts, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure smooth service flow.</li> <li>Customer Experience: Resolve customer complaints effectively and ensure "best in class" service standards.</li> <li>Staff Management: Lead and motivate staff, manage scheduling, and conduct training and onboarding.</li> <li>Food Safety &amp; Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.</li> <li>Inventory &amp; Cost Control: Monitor inventory levels for food, beverage, and cleaning supplies, and assist in identifying methods to reduce waste and control costs.</li> <li>Cash Management: Close out registers and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Experience: Previous supervisory experience in the restaurant/retail and/or hospitality industry is preferred.</li> <li>Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities.</li> <li>Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Education: High school diploma or GED required.</li> </ul> <p>Restaurant Supervisors often perform hands-on work in FOH, BOH and/or Cashier/Catering duties during peak times—while directing the work of other employees.
