Retail / E-Commerce Specialist

<p><strong><em>Job Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <p>Your role as a Retail/E-Commerce Specialist will be prioritizing the below responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and maintain sales account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies</li> <li>Prepare and post journal entries as needed (credit cards fees, sales adjustments, etc.)</li> <li>Accomplishing financial controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy</li> <li>Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations</li> <li>Develop assign tasks for MEC (Month End Closing) with entries and reports</li> <li>Collaborating with cross-functional teams and other accounting projects</li> <li>Supporting audits ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p> <p><strong><em>Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field</li> <li>2+ years of experience in Retail / E-Commerce accounting</li> <li>Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance standards (plus, not excluding)</li> <li>MS Office Knowledge and familiarity with relevant ERP such as SAP, Dynamics, etc. Other platforms such Shopify, will also be a value added.</li> <li>Analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying/resolving financial discrepancies</li> <li>English is a must; another language is a value added (plus, not excluding)</li> </ul>
