<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><a href="https://www.takealot.com/">takealot.com</a>, South Africa's leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented </span><strong>Retail Media Growth Manager </strong>to join our <strong>Retail Media team</strong> in Cape Town.</p>

<p>This position reports to the<strong> Retail Media Growth Lead</strong></p>
<p><strong>Your responsibilities will include:</strong></p>
<p>Collaborate with Buyers and Account managers to become a client expert on: </p>
<ul>
<li>GMV evolution and ambitions.</li>
<li>Product selection / stock availability.</li>
<li>Organic category market share, organic visibility Market position vs competitors.</li>
<li>Strategic sub brand or subcategory focus.</li>
<li>Build a detailed Retail Media joint business plan strategy.</li>
<li>Ability to build a bottom-up strategy based on GMV.</li>
<li>Adaptation of strategy taking into consideration the clients current brand position.</li>
<li>Incorporating client-expertise gained (for example: client’s marketing calendar, seasonality).</li>
<li>End-to-end ownership of Sales target for a select group of top GMV clients across Retail & Marketplace.</li>
<li>Consult on always-on visibility versus growth initiatives.</li>
<li>Regular alignment with Buyers and Account Managers on business-as-usual updates (for example: stock availability & age).</li>
<li>Advise on BAU RMA solutions, Ad Hoc and event specific opportunities (Blue Dot sale).</li>
<li>Execute on category specific growth & revenue opportunities (Back to School campaigns for Stationery, House of Beauty, etc).</li>
<li>Monitor execution of all retail media assets on a regular basis to ensure flawless execution.</li>
<li>Data gathering and compiling of all client-facing documentation: collaborate with operations on timelines.</li>
<li>Presenting Post campaign analysis, QBRs and Annual plans</li>
<li>Develop quarterly case studies for every client with approval: for external use.</li>
<li>Without approval: internal success stories for team growth and knowledge sharing.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualification & Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or Digital Communications.</li>
<li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Minimum 5 years’ experience in Client Services or Account Management in a relevant industry like an retail media or digital advertising or marketing.</strong></li>
<li><strong>Relevant Industry experience, responsible for driving client portfolio growth, with evidence of meeting/ exceeding sales targets</strong>.</li>
<li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Strong ownership of Campaign Success from ideation to post-campaign analysis.</strong></li>
<li style="font-weight: bold;"><strong>Experience in establishing sales management processes.</strong></li>
<li>Experience with CRM tool(s).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Attributes Required</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p>
<ul>
<li>Medium- & Long-term planning experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrable and tangible Upselling and Cross-selling achievements.</li>
<li>Fluent in English language (both verbal and written).</li>
<li>Relevant Industry experience, responsible for driving client portfolio growth, with evidence of meeting/ exceeding sales targets.</li>
<li>Strong ownership of Campaign Success from ideation to post-campaign analysis.</li>
<li>Experience in establishing sales management processes.</li>
<li>Experience with CRM tool(s).</li>
<li>eCommerce experience is preferred.</li>
</ul>
