<p>Based in Falls Church, Virginia, <strong>Retirement Planners & Administrators (RPA)</strong> is a TPA that provides 401(k) plan administration and recordkeeping services to small- and mid-sized businesses. RPA services 1,300+ 401(k), Profit Sharing, Cash Balance, and Traditional DB Plans. RPA's dedicated support and service helps their clients focus on what matters most. RPA is an operating partner of Strongpoint Partners, a leading tech-enabled financial services retirement platform backed by Shore Capital Partners (SCP).</p>
<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>
<p>Retirement Planners & Administrators (RPA), a Strongpoint Partner, <span class="TextRun SCXW195752304 BCX0" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW195752304 BCX0">is seeking a skilled <strong>Retirement Plan Compliance Analyst </strong>who will perform full A-Z administration for a caseload of defined contribution </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW195752304 BCX0">retirement plans. The right candidate will be confident in administering 401(k) and cross-tested plans from start to finish, have a strong command of compliance testing, and </span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW195752304 BCX0">possess</span><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW195752304 BCX0"> a detail-oriented, client-focused approach. <p><em>PLEASE NOTE: This is a fully remote position and can be performed from anywhere within the United States. We welcome candidates from all U.S. time zones; however, due to the primary locations of our partners and clients, preference will be given to those in the Central & Eastern time zone(s).</em></p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Administer full-cycle (A-Z) plan operations for a book of 401(k) and cross-tested retirement plans.</li>
<li>Perform compliance testing including ADP/ACP, 415, 410(b), Top Heavy, and 401(a)(4).</li>
<li>Coordinate year-end valuations and interpret plan documents.</li>
<li>Process participant transactions such as loans, hardships, and distributions.</li>
<li>Prepare and file IRS/government forms including 5500, 8955, and 5330.</li>
<li>Reconcile plan assets and complete trust accounting tasks.</li>
<li>Import and manage census and participant data.</li>
<li>Recommend and evaluate plan design changes to ensure ongoing compliance and client satisfaction.</li>
<li>Communicate with clients on plan administration issues with clarity and professionalism.</li>
<li>Leverage internal systems and technology to streamline processes and improve accuracy.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or similarly related field. </li>
<li>3-5+ years of experience in retirement plan administration, preferably in a TPA environment.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of regulatory compliance and testing standards.</li>
<li>Knowledge of ERISA regulations.</li>
<li>Proficient in Relius software, (preferred).</li>
<li>Skilled communicator with strong organizational and project management abilities.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with solid math/accounting skills.</li>
<li>Able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment.</li>
<li>ASPPA credentials (or in progress) strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="font-weight: bold;">P</span><span style="font-weight: bold;">ay Transparency Statement:</span></p>
<p>The anticipated pay range for this position is <span style="font-weight: bold;">$80,000-$90,000</span> annually.</p>
<p>At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
