We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to explore uncharted waters and contribute to our innovative projects.</p></div><p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>Position Overview</strong></h2> <p>We are looking for a Robotics Engineer specializing in Deployment &amp; Testing to help further the performance and capabilities of Skild AI’s world-class high-level software and products through formalized, rigorous testing. You will design and implement automated software tests and the ecosystems in which they run. As a critical member of the robotics team, you will have an important role in defining the quality standards of our software while accelerating its development.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive regression tests for Skild AI’s software and products.</li> <li>Design and organize test plans according to priority, impact, risk, and feasibility.</li> <li>Debug and troubleshoot failures in complex scenarios while testing and/or deployment at customer sites.</li> <li>Maintain robots and ensure they are deployment ready.</li> <li>Recreate corner cases from production logs into repeatable tests.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with robotic software developers and machine learning engineers and provide feedback on what needs to be improved to produce and sustain a top-quality product that meets customer expectations.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>BS, MS or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.</li> <li>Proficiency developing in low-level systems languages (C, C++, Rust, Go) and Python.</li> <li>Experience with complex software systems working in real-time with embedded systems.</li> <li>Experience with Test Management and Requirements software.</li> <li>Experience with ROS/ROS2 or other robotics middleware platforms.</li> <li>Previous work experience as a Test Engineer.</li> <li>Prior experience developing and deploying software on real robots.</li> <li>Deep understanding and practical experience with software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.</li> <li>Familiarity with machine learning integration and deployment in robotic systems.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
