About the role
Responsibilities
· Plan and manage the rollout of the deployment activities for whole or part of a customer project for multi areas and multi scope, ensuring the project is delivered in scope of contractual obligations and within forecasted costs, time, and required quality.
· Liaises with PBM, Customer and supplier as needed for operational needs and escalations on scope, processes, planning, budget
· Responsible for analysis, design and development of policies, plans, programs, Deployment planning, Risk and mitigation, Cost analysis
· Interacts in presales phase. Can develop and implement recommendations
· Managerial: Direct supervisory responsibilities for people & FDMs.
· Manages a team of deployment to implement network equipment and applications, from assembly and power up, through validation and commissioning.
· Decision-making typically according to established solutions. Demonstrates success in multiple roles and is adaptable to manage complex changing business environments. Analyses the feasibility of the Service Request submitted by the Program Business Management (PBM) team in terms of resources, planning and quality to ensure Nokia meets contractual scope of work, milestones and customer pre-requisites
· Monitors, reports and optimizes services delivery in alignment with relevant processes and tools providing sufficient operational visibility to stakeholders
· Monitor and control services delivery through operational KPIs
· Analyses the feasibility of the Service Request submitted by the Program Business Management (PBM) team in terms of resources, planning and quality to ensure Nokia meets contractual scope of work, milestones and customer pre-requisites
· Proactively anticipates and implements deployment competencies
· Oriented towards cost management and risk identification and mitigation
· Ensures deployment management relies on fact-based and verified schedules and forecasts
· Collects actual services delivery performance information and compares actual performance with baseline
· Determines the causes to any perceived deviation
· Collects information to provide latest estimates to completion
Knowledge & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field, with 5–8 years of experience in telecom network rollout or large-scale deployment projects.
· Proven experience managing end-to-end network deployment projects, including planning, installation, integration, commissioning, and acceptance across multi-site and multi-area environments.
· Strong ability to plan, coordinate, and control rollout activities to ensure delivery within contractual scope, budget, timeline, and quality requirements.
· Experience in deployment planning, risk management, cost control, and resource allocation, ensuring fact-based forecasting and execution.
· Ability to conduct feasibility analysis of service requests, validating scope, resources, schedules, and customer prerequisites.
