Room Attendant - Soho House Austin (Temporary)

<p><strong>The Role…</strong></p> <p>A reliable and friendly <strong>Room Attendant</strong> will provide superb customer service to our guests. Your duties will include ensuring that assigned rooms are fully stocked, cleaned, and serviced to a high standard. You should also be able to resolve guest complaints and queries promptly and in a polite manner.</p> <p>To be a successful Room Attendant, you must be honest, organized, dependable and have detailed knowledge of, and comply with, all housekeeping policies, procedures, and be passionate about creating and tidy spaces with a great can-do attitude!</p> <p><strong>Main Duties</strong></p> <ul> <li>To ensure cleanliness of guest, deep cleaning rooms on the daily basis, ensure all linen is changed on the daily basis.</li> <li>Removing of all linen and trash from the room Cleaning of bathrooms and disinfecting.&nbsp;</li> <li>Replacing all used amenities after every guest Departure.</li> <li>Prepare bed and with linen, ensure linen is free of stain and or rips.</li> <li>Reporting of any defects in a guest room and or thru out the hotel.</li> <li>Vacuum every room Sweep and mop daily.</li> <li>Understanding and knowledge of property amenities.</li> <li>Assisting guests as needed.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Required Skills/Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Basic verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Flexible schedule.</li> <li>Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.</li> <li>Detail oriented.</li> <li>Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.</li> <li>Regular and reliable attendance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.</li> <li>Must be able to make periodical fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the property to others.</li> <li>Must be able to move, pull, push, carry or lift at least 30 pounds.</li> <li>Must be able to occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb is required.</li> <li>Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, cleaning, and stooping.</li> <li>Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why work with us...</strong></p> <p>Soho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
