About the role
It plays a role in planning and executing consumer and channel activation initiatives across all sales channels-including DTC (Direc to Consumer), B2B, B2B2C, new channels, and CVS shop in shops -to enhance product visibility, consumer engagement, and brand performance in the RRP category.
The role collaborates closely with the whole RRP team, Sales, legal, SCM and other relevant departments to ensure impactful and seamless execution of activation programs in the Korean market.
The candidate is also expected to monitor performance, identify opportunities, and contribute to strengthening JTI’s presence and competitiveness within the RRP category.
Channel & D2C Activation Development and Execution:
- Develop and execute activation programs across DTC (Ploom Agents), B2B, B2B2C, new channels, and CVS shop in shops.
- Design channel-tailored consumer engagement mechanics that strengthen product trial,
conversion, and loyalty.
- Ensure all activation initiatives comply with global brand strategies, local regulations, and
corporate guidelines.
POSM Development and Management Support:
- Develop POSM and brand-related visuals optimized for diverse sales environments to enhance
visibility, trial and engagement of Ploom.
- Manage the end-to-end POSM process-including briefing, production, delivery, and installation-to
ensure high-quality execution.
- Communication with vendors and agencies to drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely
output.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Alignment:
- Work closely with RRP team & Sales team to identify trade's and consumers' needs, gather on-site insights, and ensure operational excellence of channel activation.
- Collaborate with Brand, Legal, and other internal teams to maintain consistency, accuracy, and
compliance in all activities.
- Build strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders to support smooth execution
of initiatives.
Performance Monitoring & Insight Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze RRP activation effectiveness using Power BI and other relevant data
sources.
- Track competitor activities and industry trends to identify opportunities and strengthen channel
strategies.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations to optimize future activations.
Operational & Vendor Management:
- Manage administrative and operational responsibilities, including budget tracking, documentation,
and process management.
- Oversee vendor and agency operations, ensuring efficient workflow, transparent communication,
and adherence to JTI standards.
- Support onboarding and education of partners to strengthen understanding of JTI business
fundamentals and the RRP category.
