As the company’s resident expert on safety matters, you will interact with several teams and departments, supporting them in a variety of ways</p> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Coordinate SMS training</li> <li>Maintaining &amp; disseminating relevant safety information</li> <li>Assist with the management of the Q-Pulse software</li> <li>Populate Q-Pulse software with safety related data</li> <li>Up-date Q-Pulse as part of the safety report investigative process</li> <li>Coordinate Emergency Response Plan activities and training</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Must haves:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Strong computer proficiency and experience with the Microsoft Platforms</li> <li>A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities</li> <li>Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support</li> <li>Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Nice to haves:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge/Experience of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARS) an asset</li> <li>Course work of diploma in safety-related field&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge/Experience with the Occupational health and safety/Canada labour code</li> <li>Previous aviation experience&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><span style="color: rgb(10, 81, 161);"><strong>Ready to join us?</strong></span></p> <ul> <li>Submit your resume and cover letter explaining why you are an ideal fit for the role</li> <li>If selected, we'll reach out within 10 days for a brief introductory call</li> <li>Successful candidates will then proceed to an interview with our Recruiter and Hiring Manager</li> <li>We aim to make final decisions within 14 days of the initial call</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <hr> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p><em>At Air North, we are committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible workplace.
