Founded out of Y Combinator in 2016, Legalist manages over $1.7 billion for endowments, foundations, and family offices.</p></div><p>Legalist is seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is a junior, high-impact role focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation. The ideal candidate is comfortable with cold outreach and thrives in a quota-driven environment.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting through cold calls, emails, and other channels</li> <li>Identify and engage key decision-makers and stakeholders</li> <li>Generate and qualify new business opportunities</li> <li>Build and maintain targeted lead lists using available tools and research methods</li> <li>Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation quotas</li> <li>Track outreach efforts and maintain accurate records in CRM systems</li> <li>Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and targeting strategies</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>1–3 years of experience in a sales, business development, or SDR role</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting</li> <li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas</li> <li>Ability to clearly articulate past performance metrics (e.g., meetings booked, pipeline generated, conversion rates)</li> <li>Strong research skills and ability to independently build lead lists</li> <li>Ability to independently develop and execute strategies for building lead lists and leveraging available tools and channels to effectively reach and engage key stakeholders</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and a resilient, self-starter mindset</li> </ul>
