tagvenue
About the role
⭐ About Tagvenue
At Tagvenue, we’re building a SaaS-enabled marketplace that is redefining how people discover and book venues around the world. We’re a team of highly capable and deeply curious people who care about solving meaningful problems and influencing how the venue-hire market operates globally.
Every month, thousands of events are planned through Tagvenue - from corporate offsites and private dinners to workshops, film productions and weddings. We connect people with unique spaces, matching what users need with the best venues on our marketplace.
⭐ About the Role
We're looking for a Sales Development Representative to help us grow our venue supply across key markets. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of Tagvenue's growth — reaching out to venue managers, introducing them to our platform, and convincing them to list with us. Success here looks like consistently hitting your monthly venue publishing targets, building a healthy pipeline of engaged venue partners, and becoming a confident communicator of Tagvenue's value proposition. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on results and loves the chase.
⭐ What You'll Do
Conduct high-volume outbound calls and emails to identify and engage potential venue partners across our key markets (US, APAC, UK)
Clearly communicate Tagvenue's value proposition to venue managers and decision-makers, highlighting that listing is completely free and commission-based
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through cold calling and structured follow-ups
Gather all information needed to create complete, high-quality venue profiles on the platform
Consistently meet or exceed monthly venue publishing targets
⭐ What We're Looking For
Must-have:
Proven experience in sales, telemarketing, or a similar role involving cold calling and lead generation
Excellent communication and persuasion skills — you can engage and win over new contacts over the phone
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of calls and follow-ups
Goal-oriented, persistent, and positive — you treat rejection as part of the process
Comfortable with CRM systems and tracking sales performance metrics
Fluent in English
Nice-to-have:
Experience working in a marketplace, events, or hospitality environment
Familiarity with venue hire or the events industry
⭐ What Makes Us a Great Place to Work
Competitive monthly salary + performance-based bonuses
100% remote — work from anywhere, with flexibility to align with US, APAC, or UK time zones
12 days of paid time off per year + your birthday off + public holidays
A constant learning culture among sharp, curious people who read, share, and grow together
High autonomy and real ownership — your work directly drives company growth
A warm, international team that moves fast and cares about what it builds
