Job Summary
The legal industry is undergoing a digital transformation, and we are at the forefront of this evolution. We are looking for an ambitious, high-energy Sales Development Representative with a background in LegalTech to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the engine of our sales pipeline, identifying key stakeholders at law firms and corporate legal departments and articulating how our technology solves their most complex challenges. This is a high-impact position designed for a top performer who wants to master the art of legal sales and fast-track their career into Account Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify high-potential prospects within the legal sector to build a robust outbound pipeline.
- Execute multi-channel outreach strategies, including cold calling, personalized emailing, and LinkedIn networking.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and qualify leads based on their needs and budget.
- Partner closely with Account Executives to transition qualified opportunities and ensure a seamless handoff.
- Maintain meticulous records in the CRM to track activity, conversion rates, and territory insights.
- Stay current on legal industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to act as a subject matter expert.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience as an SDR or in a similar business development role.
- Direct experience working within the LegalTech industry or selling professional services to law firms.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly quotas for qualified meetings and pipeline generation.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate conversations with senior partners and General Counsel.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of outreach without sacrificing quality.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience using modern sales tech stacks (Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- A background in law or a JD degree is a significant plus.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions specifically into the "Big Law" market.
