About the role

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of 6 sales/account management staff.
  •  Drive team performance against revenue and growth targets. 
  •  Support and mentor the team through coaching, development, and regular performance reviews. 
  •  Develop strategic relationships with new and existing clients. 
  •  Work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure excellent service delivery. 
  •  Identify opportunities for growth across compliance service lines. 
  •  Support bid/tender activity and larger commercial opportunities. 
  •  Support the development and implementation of sales strategies, incentive schemes, KPI's and commission structures to drive team performance and growth.
  •  Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the compliance sector. 
  •  Produce accurate forecasting and reporting for senior leadership.
  • Previous experience in a Sales Manager or Senior Business Development role.
  •  Background within TICC, compliance, environmental, or technical services sectors. 
  •  Exposure to one or more of the following areas: 
    •  Legionella / Water Hygiene 
    •  Asbestos 
    •  Occupational Hygiene 
    •  Environmental Compliance 
    •  Health & Safety Services 
  •  Experience managing or mentoring sales teams.
  •  Strong commercial awareness and consultative sales approach. 
  •  Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills. 
  •  Ability to motivate and develop people. 
  •  Comfortable working in a fast paced, growing business environment.
