About the role

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding Jord’s market presence across the Energy Division by leveraging the full suite of products and services within the assigned region.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Identify and engage target customers within aligned industry sectors, securing new business opportunities and expanding key accounts
  • Deliver agreed sales revenue targets by developing and executing regional growth plans
  • Maintain full accountability for the profitability and growth of the assigned portfolio
  • Contribute to sales forecasting and take ownership of achieving committed targets
  • Provide input into the selection and management of sales agents, in collaboration with Jord product teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality and finance to support business outcomes
  • Monitor market and competitor activity, providing insights on impacts to strategy and performance
  • Represent Jord at industry events, conferences and exhibitions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective key customers
  • Partner with technical, applications and estimating teams to deliver competitive and high-value solutions
  • Review tender documentation and support proposal development with product and technical teams
  • Lead commercial negotiations, including terms and conditions
  • Participate in technical and commercial clarification meetings as required
  • Ensure compliance with all Jord policies and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Minimum tertiary qualification in Chemical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  • At least 10 years’ industry experience in selling high value, high complexity solutions to the Oil and Gas or related Industries in the Southeast Asian and Oceania markets
  • In-depth knowledge of Customer base in Oceania and Southeast Asia region, including EPCs, OEMs and end users.
  • Proven track record in successful sales generation with existing contacts in the industry
  • Knowledge/understanding of Process design, Heat Transfer technologies, Gas Treatment/Separation and Pressure vessel applications preferable
  • A proactive and positive attitude focused on the development of the Company’s business and the support of fellow staff throughout pre-award and execution, working cooperatively and constructively within a culturally diverse team environment.
  • Good English communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Computing and MS Office and Excel, and presentation skills
  • Focus on quality and provision of value to the Company and our clients
  • Regular travel as required
