About the role
As part of our renewables business, C&I Solutions helps commercial and industrial clients transition to sustainable energy through customized, scalable solutions. Our team works with businesses to implement integrated energy solutions, from solar PV and battery storage to EV charging infrastructure, energy management systems and Power Purchase Agreements.
As we continue to expand our C&I activities in Belgium, we are looking for a Sales Manager to actively grow our customer base and bring new opportunities into the business. The role is focused on customer acquisition, lead generation and opportunity development. You will actively engage with C&I customers, understand their energy and operational challenges, and work with internal teams to translate these needs into relevant integrated energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and business development
Actively identify, approach and develop new C&I customers in Belgium.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline, from first contact to signed opportunity.
Generate qualified leads and build relationships with senior stakeholders through direct outreach, networks, industry contacts and events.
Drive customer discussions, understand decision-making processes and move opportunities forward.
Customer needs and energy transition
Understand the energy, operational and sustainability challenges of C&I customers.
Translate customer needs into relevant energy solutions, including PV, BESS, EMS and EV charging.
Identify opportunities linked to electrification of heat, mobility, logistics, industrial processes and site operations.
Support customers in navigating a complex energy environment, including grid constraints, energy price volatility, changing regulation and sustainability targets.
Market execution and feedback
Execute the go-to-market approach for Belgium and adjust it based on market reality.
Bring customer and market feedback into the organization to help improve the offer.
Work closely with internal teams to turn customer interest into concrete proposals.
Proven track record in B2B business development in the Belgian energy market, with a focus on renewable energy solutions such as solar, BESS, and/or EV chargers.
Experience in setting up processes, managing sales activities and leading a sales division. You are also familiar with structuring, negotiating and closing PPA’s,
Strong relationship-building capabilities, with a history of successful client and stakeholder engagements.
Innovative, forward-thinking, and a passion for driving sustainable energy solutions.
To be eligible for this role, you reside in Belgium and hold a valid work permit.
Fluency in Dutch, French and English.
