Backed by top VCs and strategic investors, with customers and partners worldwide, we’re making a significant impact in the multi-hundred-billion-dollar global railway industry.<br><br>We’re looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to join our growing team in Europe and help accelerate our expansion across the DACH region with a focus on Germany. This role will be remote and requires travel across the target region to engage with customers, partners, and industry events.<br><br>If you’re passionate about technology, cybersecurity, and the rail industry — and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment — we’d love to meet you.<br><br>In This Role, You Will<br><br>- Drive Sales Activities: Support and lead the sales process from prospecting and generating opportunities to closure, including lead generation, customer engagement, and proposal development.<br><br>- Develop Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the rail and cybersecurity ecosystems.<br><br>- Support Market Strategy: Collaborate with senior team members to identify new opportunities, develop go-to-market plans, and support strategic sales initiatives.<br><br>- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Cylus’ technical and marketing teams to ensure customer success and consistent messaging.<br><br>- Represent Cylus: Attend industry events and conferences, helping to expand our presence and network across the DACH rail community.<br><br><br>Requirements<br><br>- 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within the rail, transportation, or technology sectors.<br><br>- Demonstrated success in managing customer relationships and contributing to complex sales cycles.<br><br>- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.<br><br>- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-growing, small-team environment.<br><br>- Willingness and ability to travel as required across the DACH region.<br><br><br>Big Plus<br><br>- Existing network or relationships within the rail industry (freight and/or passenger/transit).<br><br>- Background in technical fields such as computer science, electrical engineering, or cybersecurity.<br><br>- Previous experience in cybersecurity sales or technology partnerships.<br><br>- Experience working within a start-up environment.<br><br>Why Cylus?<br><br>At Cylus, you’ll have the opportunity to play a meaningful role in protecting the world’s railways — critical infrastructure relied on by millions daily.
