If you are looking for an entrepreneurial environment where your work directly contributes to a more sustainable and digital energy future,&nbsp; we invite you to submit your application below.</em></p></div><h2><strong>Your mission:</strong></h2> <p>Fidectus is seeking a Sales Manager to expand our presence across the European energy trading market by generating qualified opportunities, developing relationships within target accounts, and supporting the progression of strategic opportunities.</p> <p>This is a highly commercial role combining outbound prospecting, industry networking, customer engagement and opportunity development.&nbsp;The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Sales and wider commercial team to build market coverage, create pipeline and develop long-term customer relationships across Europe.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2><strong>What you’ll do:&nbsp;</strong></h2> <p><strong>Market Development &amp; Pipeline Generation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build relationships across target accounts in European energy and commodity markets.</li> <li>Generate qualified opportunities through a combination of outbound prospecting, referrals, partner engagement and industry networking.</li> <li>Attend conferences, customer meetings and industry events across Europe.</li> <li>Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders across trading, operations, back office, settlement, risk and technology functions.</li> <li>Consistently generate qualified pipeline opportunities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Opportunity Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support discovery conversations and qualification activities.</li> <li>Progress selected opportunities independently.</li> <li>Coordinate with senior sales leadership on strategic accounts.</li> <li>Maintain momentum through clear next actions and stakeholder engagement.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Account &amp; Territory Development</strong></p> <ul> <li>Develop structured coverage plans for target markets and strategic accounts.</li> <li>Build relationships with customers, prospects, partners and industry participants.</li> <li>Identify expansion opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Commercial Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain excellent CRM hygiene and account intelligence.</li> <li>Track pipeline development, meetings, and commercial activity.</li> <li>Contribute market feedback and competitive intelligence.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Your profile - What you will need:</strong></h2> <p><strong>Required</strong></p> <ul> <li>3-7 years' experience in business developmentsales or account development within B2B SaaS, technology or related industries</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship-building</li> <li>Experience engaging multiple stakeholders within medium-to-large organisations</li> <li>Strong written, verbal and face-to-face communication skills</li> <li>Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce or similar</li> <li>Fluency in English</li> </ul> <p><strong>Strongly Preferred</strong></p> <ul> <li>Exposure to energy, commodities, financial services or enterprise software</li> <li>Experience attending industry events and developing business relationships</li> <li>Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g. Challenger, MEDDICC, Sandler or similar)</li> <li>Experience engaging operational, technology or transformation stakeholders</li> <li>German (written and spoken), additional European languages are a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>You are:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Commercially curious and proactive</li> <li>Comfortable initiating conversations with new prospects</li> <li>Confident representing Fidectus at customer meetings and industry events</li> <li>Structured and organised in your approach</li> <li>Resilient and persistent</li> <li>Relationship-oriented but results-focused</li> <li>Comfortable operating in a growth-stage environment</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Why Join Fidectus</strong></h2> <p>You’ll join a dynamic, growth-stage SaaS company that’s redefining how the energy market handles post-trade processes.
