What will your role be?

As Sales Manager Japan, you will drive sales and support the local business operations of the Medis Tokyo Branch, in line with the overall business plan and strategic objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving the revenue target for the region, preparing and executing sales plans for our partners and distributors, and building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. You will identify new sales opportunities, conduct on-site demonstrations, prepare quotations, offers and documentation for tenders, and ensure accurate CRM administration.

You will also contribute to the preparation and execution of the marketing plan for Japan. This includes gathering market intelligence, identifying customer needs and future product requirements, managing relationships with key opinion leaders, and representing Medis at cardiology and radiology congresses. In addition, you will support sponsorship communication, congress sessions and booth arrangements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics or a related field
  • Familiarity with the healthcare market
  • Experience within cardiology
  • Experience with Healthcare-IT is a plus
  • Experience with solution-based sales and the ability to work with both internal teams and customers
  • Knowledge of healthcare trends, industry standards and successful sales strategies for hospitals
  • Ability to design, lead and execute projects
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, perseverance and the ability to manage multiple tasks to completion
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus
