Client and Business Strategy (CBS) is structured into four divisions — Client Franchise Value for strategic alignment, Sales and Client Relationship for client engagement, Product Strategy & Innovation for relevance and ecosystem impact, and Client Experience for seamless and valuable client interactions. These four divisions are fully dedicated and accountable, and strongly interconnected, to set the path for our future success.

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, expand, and manage client relationships within the assigned territory or sector.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, representing the full range of the firm’s products and services in securities asset servicing, collateral management and financing solutions, as well as B2B fund distribution services
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all products and services offered to current and potential clients.
  • Manage account relationships (in collaboration with Account Managers) and drive new business opportunities independently.
  • Oversee activities across multiple services and business areas for assigned clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client satisfaction, identifying both new business opportunities and areas of risk.
  • Promote the organization’s capabilities to clients and support the identification of additional business within accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to meet client needs.
  • Protect existing revenue streams and proactively seek new business opportunities with potential clients and in new markets.
  • Develop and implement sales and relationship plans to expand and deepen the client base, including cross-selling additional services.
  • Represent the firm at market forums and conferences.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant products and markets, adapting knowledge based on client complexity.
  • Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes affecting clients.
  • Work under the guidance of senior managers, with the ability to operate independently as required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from Business Development Management and Strategy & Product Management to identify new sales opportunities, manager Tier 1 clients and develop new products/services and capture market share.
  • This role will report to Unit Head, Sales & Relationship Management (North Asia)

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the securities services industry or a related field in Hong Kong and Taiwan. 
  • Highly driven, confident, and motivated; able to work independently. 
  • Creative thinker with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to think outside the box. 
  • Strong product and domain knowledge of the securities services industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly at all organizational levels. 
  • Ability to build relationships with senior counterparts as well as working-level contacts. 
  • Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. 
  • This role is a regulated role; the job holder will need to meet the appointment requirements and subject to ongoing fit and proper monitoring and training (CPT) requirements if applicable.
  • The job holder for this role will undergo Mandatory Reference Check process.
