SALES REPRESENTATIVE

GENERAL JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Branch Manager/Branch Support Manager, the Sales Representative has the direct responsibility to ensure our customers are given excellent customer service, using all the tools available to ensure customer satisfaction as well as meeting the monthly targets set by the management team.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

• Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Understanding and promoting company products.
• Answering customer questions about products via telephone or face to face.
• Preparing quotations for current and prospective customers.
• Processing customers’ transactions efficiently.
• Maintaining sales accuracy.
• Assisting in resolving customer complaints.
• Establishing new customers.
• Assessing customers’ needs carefully.
• Performing any other related duties required to ensure the effective flow of operations.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

• Experience in sales.
• Understanding the sales process and dynamics.
• Superb interpersonal skills, including ability to build quick rapport with customers.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

• 3 years related experience.
• Secondary Education
• Tertiary Education a plus
  • Specialized training/knowledge in: customer service, upselling and communication
