You are an integral part of a high-performance team with responsibilities of collecting and&nbsp;maintaining sales tax exemption certificates and assisting the Indirect Tax Supervisor as needed.</span></span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Impact In This Role</span></h3> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">What are the key milestones of this role and what is the added value of this role to the organization? Research shows that women are unlikely to apply for a position unless they meet 100 percent of the requirements, while men will apply if they meet 60 percent of the requirements.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">What You’ll Be Doing</span></h3> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">● Collect, file, and maintain sales tax exemption certificates.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">● Update customer taxability status in ERP system.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">● Assist Sales Tax Supervisor with certificate campaigns.<br></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">● Assist AR/CS in researching and resolving customer sales tax issues and answering taxability questions.<br></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">● Responsible for gathering the necessary information to support the Company’s position during sales tax audits.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">● Provide support to the Supervisor Indirect Tax during tax audits.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;">Desired Traits</span></h3> <p>● 2+ years of relevant experience in GST sales tax compliance.</p> <p>● Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</p> <p>● Must be able to perform under tight deadlines with flexibility.</p> <p>● Works well in a team environment.</p> <p>● Advanced computer skills in Excel.
