Role Overview
We are seeking experienced contract Project Manager with proven experience delivering Salesforce implementations within the Financial Services sector. The successful candidate will own end-to-end delivery across enterprise programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Salesforce implementation programmes
- Run Agile, SAFe, or Waterfall methodologies depending on project needs
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, retrospectives and backlog refinement
- Manage project plans, risks, issues and dependencies
- Lead SteerCo governance sessions
- Manage scope and change control
- Drive delivery against timelines, budget and quality
- Coordinate cross-functional teams
- Manage client relationships and stakeholder engagement
- Use Jira and Confluence for planning, tracking and documentation
Required Experience
- 5–10+ years Project Management experience
- Salesforce implementation experience (Sales, Service, FSC, OmniStudio)
- Financial Services experience (Banking or Insurance)
- Enterprise client exposure (Standard Bank, ABSA, Capitec or similar)
- End-to-end delivery ownership
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall delivery

- Jira and Confluence proficiency
Commercial Expectations
- Operate with a strong consulting mindset focused on billability, utilization, and revenue contribution
- Understand and manage project financials including burn rate, margin, and recovery
- Drive efficient delivery to maximize utilization and minimize non-billable time
- Support identification of upsell and extension opportunities within client accounts
Governance & SteerCo Alignment
- Lead and facilitate monthly internal and external SteerCo sessions
- Ensure all project changes, risks, and deviations are formally documented and approved
- Maintain full visibility of project health through RAID logs and structured reporting
- Align delivery governance with BlueSky Delivery Office standards and frameworks
- Ensure all projects produce CSAT feedback and case studies post-delivery
Onboarding & Delivery Expectations
- Ability to onboard into new client environments and projects within 2 weeks
- Rapidly understand client context, delivery status, and key risks
- Take ownership of delivery with minimal ramp-up time
- Establish credibility quickly with client stakeholders and delivery teams
Contract Terms
- Contract duration will typically range from 6 to 12 months, depending on client requirements and programme scope
- Extensions may be considered based on performance and client demand
