SAP Expert / ABAP Developer

Minerva Marine Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Expert / ABAP Developer to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting SAP solutions across the organization, while actively embracing new SAP technologies to drive innovation and digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, develops, and maintains custom ABAP programs.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for existing SAP systems and modules (e.g., MM, FI/CO).

• Collaborates closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Explores and adopts emerging SAP technologies, including SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Joule AI, and SAP Build, to support the company’s innovation roadmap.
• Develops and maintains integrations between SAP and third-party systems.
• Involved in projects related to other SAP cloud solutions, such as SAP SuccessFactors (SF) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), supporting implementation, configuration, or integration efforts as needed.

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• SAP certification (e.g., ABAP Development, SAP BTP) is an asset.
• At least 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development and SAP system support.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, integrations and CDS views.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA architecture and clean core principles is a plus.
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors (SF) and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is considered an advantage.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new SAP technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP Joule, and SAP Build.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
