- Role Summary
- We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Cloud Developer/ Hana on prem to work on a database-centric SAP BTP architecture. The role focuses on SQLScript-based procedural development using a multi-container HANA Cloud setup to support enterprise reporting and analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize SQLScript procedures in SAP HANA Cloud.Implement and maintain multi-container architecture (staging, target, procedures).Develop complex dynamic SQL and parameterized procedures.Enable parallel execution of procedures for performance optimization.Manage cross-container access using grants, synonyms, and roles.Perform table partitioning and SQL performance tuning.Support manual MTAR-based transport and environment synchronization.Collaborate with Datasphere and SAC teams to support reporting needs.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud SQLScript.Deep expertise in:
- Dynamic SQL
- Window functions
- Procedural programming
- Experience with multi-container HANA Cloud architecture.Familiarity with:
- JDBC-based data ingestion (e.g., Hadoop / non-SAP sources)
- SDA concepts (DP Agent, virtual tables – conceptual)
- Experience working in Business Application Studio (BAS).
