Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Follow guidelines established by MH for scheduling
- Schedules patients for Pre-Surgical Testing
- Obtains and enters all necessary booking information.
- Allows adequate time for procedures, PST appointments according to physician requests and MH requirements
- Communicates scheduling changes, cancellations and update to appropriate departments and staff to ensure continuity of care
- Demonstrates competency in EPIC and Optesia in order to perform daily activities.
- Collaborates with Patient Access on any PST or surgery
- Maintains accurate daily census sheets.
- Maintains office equipment (fax, printers and copier)
- Provides office support to include but not limited to appointment coordination, patient inquiries, ordering of supplies and other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous healthcare scheduling, registration or medical office experience preferred.
- Experience working with EPIC or other EMR systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills required.
Posted Salary Range
USD $28.57 - USD $28.57 /Hr.The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
