Job Details

Responsibilities: 

 

• Follow guidelines established by MH for scheduling
• Schedules patients for Pre-Surgical Testing
• Obtains and enters all necessary booking information.
• Allows adequate time for procedures, PST appointments according to physician requests and MH requirements
• Communicates scheduling changes, cancellations and update to appropriate departments and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Demonstrates competency in EPIC and Optesia in order to perform daily activities.
• Collaborates with Patient Access on any PST or surgery
• Maintains accurate daily census sheets.
• Maintains office equipment (fax, printers and copier)
• Provides office support to include but not limited to appointment coordination, patient inquiries, ordering of supplies and other administrative duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Previous healthcare scheduling, registration or medical office experience preferred. 
• Experience working with EPIC or other EMR systems preferred. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office. 
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills required.

Posted Salary Range

USD $28.57 - USD $28.57 /Hr.
