As the primary point of contact for Atlas Air crewmember worldwide, Scheduling Coordinators are responsible for providing timely assistance and accurate information to ensure seamless crew operations. This role requires exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. The Scheduling Coordinator position also serves as a foundational step toward advancement into the Crew Scheduler role, offering a clear path for career progression within the scheduling team.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Major Job Accountabilities:</strong></span></p>
<p><em>Customer Service & Crew Relations</em></p>
<ul>
<li>Provides exceptional customer service to flight and cabin crewmembers by responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.</li>
<li>Address crewmember concerns or disputes regarding schedules and work to resolve issues in a fair and diplomatic manner.</li>
<li>Professionally monitoring and operating all lines of communication (chat, phone, email) in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for flight crews regarding scheduling issues, changes, or requests.</li>
<li>Deliver timely schedule notifications to crewmembers following any schedule updates to ensure awareness and compliance.</li>
<li>Ensure ground transportation and hotels are booked, confirmed, and reconfirmed, based on rolling schedule</li>
<li>Communicate information about transportation or hotel reservation changes to affected stations, vendors, AMEX GBT, and departments within the GCC.</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between System Operations, Crew Scheduling, and Travel.</li>
</ul>
<p><em> </em><em>Information Gathering & Processing </em></p>
<ul>
<li>Processes all inbound calls and daily schedule modifications via the crew management system.</li>
<li>Check crewmember legality for each flight and verify that there are no issues that would impact a flight departure.</li>
<li>Follow procedures outlined in the Training Manual to ensure all crewmembers are awake for the appropriate departure time.</li>
<li>Manage daily responsibilities such as reporting, auditing, compliance, and all other support functions.</li>
</ul>
<p><em>Teamwork & Collaboration </em></p>
<ul>
<li>Escalate significant operational events as needed in accordance with written procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain communications using the established messaging system (i.e. Teams, etc.).</li>
<li>Work alongside designated Travel team members to monitor and ensure crewmember travel needs are being met.</li>
<li>Close coordination with the Crew Schedulers in regard to any issues that will affect the operation.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and maintain company expectations.</li>
</ul>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Required: Minimum of High School diploma</li>
<li>Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience</li>
<li>Required: 1 year of continuous work experience (experience with few gaps)</li>
<li>Preferred: Minimum 1 year of customer service or data analysis experience</li>
<li>Must be proficient in MS Office skills particularly with Outlook, Word and Excel and have the ability to use a desktop computer</li>
<li>Must timely and successfully complete classroom and on-the-job training and competency checks, including obtaining satisfactory test scores on an initial and recurrent basis</li>
<li>Must possess a learning mindset with the ability to proficiently operate sophisticated and complex aviation software systems (AIMS, etc.)</li>
<li>Knowledgeable in operating a multi-line phone system</li>
<li>Must possess excellent communication skills; basic math skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities; and the ability to handle a high-pressure environment, staying calm under pressure</li>
<li>Must be able to work any/all shifts (24/7 operation) including weekends & holidays</li>

<p>Competitive compensation will be offered based on a variety of factors, including a candidate's experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity and other factors.
