Experience with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity is a must. Duties include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Perform hearing, vision and other health screenings</li> <li>Treat students and staff as needed</li> <li>Prepare incident reports for student and staff injuries</li> <li>Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions</li> <li>Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care</li> <li>Administer medication</li> <li>Monitor student immunization records</li> <li>Educate students and staff on health procedures</li> <li>Help students who have feeding disabilities</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A minimum degree of Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Registered Nurse License is required.</li> <li>Candidate possessing a <strong>Standard School Nurse Certificate (CSN) </strong>for the <strong>state of NJ </strong>and will have all professional licenses and required training up to date is highly&nbsp; preferred</li> <li>Experience working in collaboration with other nurses and with students.</li> <li>Demonstrated compliance experience required.
