For more information, visit </span><a href="https://url.us.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/gYX5CkRVZgtkknDEuVhmcGHXzh?domain=parabilismed.com/"><span data-contrast="none"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Hyperlink">www.parabilismed.com</span></span></a><span data-contrast="none">&nbsp;or follow us on&nbsp;</span><a href="https://url.us.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/7qd3ClYV50H11oWrFyinczUQak?domain=linkedin.com"><span data-contrast="none"><span data-ccp-charstyle="Hyperlink">LinkedIn</span></span></a><span data-contrast="none">.</span><span data-ccp-props="{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}">&nbsp;</span></p> <p><strong>What’s the opportunity?</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a Principal Scientist with deep expertise in drug product formulation development for peptide therapeutics to play a critical role in advancing Parabilis Med’s pipeline and delivery platforms from early development through clinical/commercial stages.</p> <p>This position will lead formulation strategies across multiple delivery modalities (parenteral, oral, and advanced delivery systems), integrate closely with discovery, DMPK, analytical, and CMC teams, and help establish Parabilis Med’s drug product development capabilities.</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead formulation development for peptide therapeutics across parenteral (SC/IV/IM), oral, and advanced delivery systems (e.g., nanoparticles, depot formulations)</li> <li>Design and optimize dosage forms including injectables, tablets, capsules, and enabling delivery technologies</li> <li>Evaluate and implement high concentration peptide formulation, incorporating sustained release, absorption enhancement, and stabilization strategies</li> <li>Design and interpret biorelevant in vitro and in vivo studies to support PK/PD and candidate selection</li> <li>Contribute to CMC development from early feasibility through IND-enabling and clinical stages</li> <li>Support technology transfer, scale-up, and external manufacturing (CRO/CDMO) activities</li> <li>Collaborate cross-functionally with DMPK, biology, analytical, and regulatory teams</li> <li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship within Pharmaceutical Sciences.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll need to be successful:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PhD in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field</li> <li>8-10+ years of industry experience in drug product development for peptides and/or biologics</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in multiple formulation modalities, including parenteral formulations (SC/IV/IM), and oral dosage forms</li> <li>Experience in advanced delivery systems (e.g., nanoparticles, depot formulations) is a plus.</li> <li>Strong understanding of biopharmaceutics, stability, release/absorption and in vitro–in vivo translation</li> <li>Experience contributing to IND/CTA-enabling CMC activities</li> <li>Experience with late-stage or commercial formulations is highly desirable</li> <li>Experience working with and managing CRO/CDMO partners</li> <li>Strong scientific judgment, problem-solving skills, and communication</li> </ul> <p><strong>Core Values</strong></p> <p>Parabilis Medicines is a team of passionate pioneers who are trailblazing the future of precision medicine with the aim of making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.
