Seasonal Avid/Interplay Media Specialist (REHIRES)

<p><strong><u>Summary/Objective:</u></strong></p> <p>Working in Media Administration, the Avid/Interplay Specialist will be responsible for populating media within Avid Media Composer. Quality control includes checking picture, sound, tape ID, correct nomenclature, and organizing the media within Interplay Access.&nbsp; The Specialist will also be responsible for project creation, importing music, and other digital elements. In addition, this individual will also require the ability to provide technical support to producers regarding Avid Media Composer and Interplay.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>Required Education and Experience:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>BA/BS and experience in a production/post-production facility</li> <li>Professional experience with Avid Media Composer &amp; Interplay; Media Composer 2020 preferred</li> <li>Experience with multiple digital media file types and codecs, including working knowledge of frame rates, resolutions, and aspect ratios</li> <li>Possession of strong computer skills on both Mac and PC systems</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Preferred Education and Experience:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Organizational and project coordination experience with Avid and/or Interplay</li> <li>Knowledge of football and/or the NFL</li> <li>Familiarity with writing Standard Operating Procedures</li> <li>Knowledge of football and/or the NFL</li> <li>Ability to work non-standard hours: weekends, evenings, holidays, early start times</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Other Key Attributes / Characteristics:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written</li> <li>Capable of working in a team environment, as well as independently</li> <li>Ability to follow comprehensive instructions</li> <li>Strict attention to detail is a must: master clip accuracy, project naming, etc. is essential</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure within time sensitive schedules.</li> <li>This an evening and overnight position.
