About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare paper files for scanning by sorting, organizing, removing staples, and ensuring documents are ready for processing.
- Scan documents into designated systems or folders and verify scanned images are legible, complete, and correctly saved.
- Label, index, and organize electronic files according to established naming conventions and department instructions.
- Handle confidential accounting records with care and always maintain file security and privacy.
- Maintain an organized workspace and follow department procedures for document handling and retention.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Current high school students or recent high school graduate.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to learn scanning equipment and file-saving procedures.
- Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Previous office, clerical, filing, or scanning experience.
- Experience using scanners, copiers, or multifunction office equipment.
- Interest in accounting, business, or administrative work.
