Seasonal Warehouse Associate

We are&nbsp;<strong>employee owned</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>relationship powered</strong>.</p> <p><em><strong>Shift: Seasonal Role from May to October, Monday - Friday Swing Shift 10AM to 7PM.</strong></em></p> <p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY</strong></p> <p>Located at one of our Cottage Grove location, the&nbsp;<span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">person in this position would assist with picking and preparing orders for shipments as well as receive, transfer, and storage of incoming freight in our Toledo division. </span>. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:</p> <ul type="disc"> <li><strong>Living Out Lumbermen’s Culture</strong>&nbsp;– Leading in and modeling Lumbermen’s core values while creating an atmosphere where Lumbermen’s is ‘first choice’ of our customers.</li> <li><strong>Detail Oriented</strong>&nbsp;- Unloading incoming freight, verifying product against enclosed packing lists, sorting material by end destination and putting away excess stock.</li> <li><strong>Preparing Orders</strong>&nbsp;- Accurately pulling customer orders and preparing material for shipment</li> <li><strong>Safety</strong>&nbsp;- Securing and labeling products for delivery</li> <li><strong>Process</strong>&nbsp;- Transferring picked orders to staging area for delivery per the delivery schedule.</li> <li><strong>Open Communication</strong>&nbsp;- Assisting in cleaning and maintenance of warehouse.</li> <li><strong>Teamwork</strong>&nbsp;- Performing other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor</li> </ul> <p>At Lumbermen’s, we pride ourselves on treating our customers like family and delivering exceptional service. It’s crucial that the person selected to fill this role is highly organized and detail-oriented, service-minded, a strong and friendly communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Previous Forklift experience</li> <li>Previous warehouse experience in a distribution setting</li> <li>Ability to accurately pull orders and load/unload trucks.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 50lbs.</li> </ul> <p>Lumbermen’s is proud to be a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
