Part-Time Security Concierge (Sat/Sun 9am-5pm)

<p>The Security Officer for ParkX Management ensures that the facility is run smoothly, safely, cleanly, and is a good experience for residents, tenants, and guests.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system</li> <li>Access control for guests, tenants and vendors</li> <li>Ensure no property is being damaged</li> <li>Conduct of routine foot patrols in and around building.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned&nbsp;</li> <li>Observation and reporting of safety</li> <li>Issue Banning notices to rule violators&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain file for Ban Notices and notify management when necessary</li> <li>Maintain the appearance of the two plaza kiosks&nbsp;</li> <li>Enforce the “no dogs on the plaza” policy</li> <li>Keep updated information (e.g., Kiss N Ride, Contact Phone #’s, Rules of Conduct) and communicate to guests as needed</li> <li>Report any unknown work that is occurring at the property to management</li> <li>If anyone parks illegally on the property, notify Park X, Commercial property management, and Residential property management immediately&nbsp;</li> <li>Communicate to guests that we must keep the fire access areas accessible for fire trucks and ambulances</li> <li>Close loading dock doors as needed</li> <li>Report any concerns to management</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma</li> <li>Must be a certified security officer in Virginia</li> <li>Minimum of at least 1 year experience in customer-service related field&nbsp;</li> <li>Valid driver's license without major violations</li> <li>Flexibility to work after hours and weekends, as needed</li> <li>Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships</li> <li>Strong sense of urgency</li> <li>Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills</li> <li>Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity</li> <li>Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence</li> <li>Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation</li> <li>Must be customer-focused and results-oriented</li> <li>Must want to continuously learn and develop</li> <li>Exceptional oral and written communication, active listening, and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li> <li>Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision</li> </ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong><br>- Competitive Salary with Bonus Potential<br>- Generous Benefit Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match, Life Insurance<br><br><strong>Career Development</strong><br>- Opportunities for Advancement within our expanding portfolio<br>- Annual Professional Development Funds to fuel your growth<br><br><strong>Employee Perks (to name a few):</strong><br>- Housing Discount<br>- Commuter Benefits<br>- Free Parking and EV charging<br>- Parental Leave Program<br>- Enjoy a Friendly Work Environment that values collaboration<br><br>Explore more perks and possibilities&nbsp;<a href="https://careers.comstock.com/benefits">here&nbsp;</a>for growing your career with Comstock Companies!
