Principal Security Engineer

Role: Security Product Manager

Location: Singapore

We are partnering with a leading organisation to hire a Security Product Manager to drive end-to-end security solutions across API security, DevSecOps, cloud workloads, and AI threat detection in a multi-cloud environment.

You will act as the bridge between security engineering and product, translating complex security capabilities into scalable, customer-centric solutions. This role focuses on use case definition, product roadmap, and productisation of security innovations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and connect security use cases across API security, cloud workloads, Kubernetes, and AI pipelines

• Build and manage the security product roadmap, balancing innovation and business needs

• Translate real-world threats (API abuse, container escape, AI attacks) into product features

• Drive API security capabilities (authentication, rate limiting, anomaly detection)

• Integrate security across DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD, policy-as-code, SAST/DAST)

• Define product requirements, user stories, and success metrics

• Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud teams to deliver scalable solutions

• Support productisation of POCs and internal security innovations into production-ready features

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in security, cloud, or platform domains

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS + Azure or GCP)

• Experience with Kubernetes security (RBAC, runtime security, network policies)

• Knowledge of API security (OAuth, JWT, OWASP API Top 10)

• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines

• Hands-on exposure to Terraform, policy-as-code, or security tooling

• Basic coding knowledge (Python or Go)

• Ability to translate technical security concepts into product strategy

Good to Have

• Experience in AI/LLM security or adversarial ML

• Exposure to runtime security (eBPF, Falco)

• Background in security engineering or platform engineering
