Security Manager

Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.</p></div><p><strong>Position Summary</strong><br>ANSER is seeking a Security Manager to support the Foreign Disclosure Program under the direction of the Foreign Disclosure Officer. In this role you will ensure compliance with DoD and national security requirements, including classified information protection, export control, and disclosure policy. You will serve as a senior advisor to leadership on security risk, program protection, and foreign disclosure decisions involving international partners.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead daily security operations supporting classified programs, personnel, facilities, and systems</li> <li>Administer personnel security actions (clearances, access eligibility, indoctrinations, visit requests, incident reporting)</li> <li>Ensure compliance with DoD and national security requirements for classified and controlled information</li> <li>Manage classified holdings, including storage, transmission, accountability, and destruction</li> <li>Conduct audits, self-inspections, and compliance reviews; implement corrective actions</li> <li>Develop and enforce security policies, SOPs, and work instructions</li> <li>Deliver security education, training, and awareness programs</li> <li>Coordinate with government agencies, program managers, and leadership on security matters</li> <li>Respond to and report security incidents, violations, and compromises</li> <li>Advise leadership on risk mitigation, insider threat, and mission assurance</li> <li>Execute and manage the Foreign Disclosure Program in accordance with governing policy</li> <li>Review and process foreign disclosure requests; assess releasability and restrictions</li> <li>Prepare recommendations for disclosure approvals, denials, or escalations</li> <li>Maintain records, metrics, and reporting for security and disclosure activities</li> <li>Support multinational operations by ensuring proper authorization of shared information</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active TS/SCI clearance</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university</li> <li>Minimum 5 years of relevant security experience, including at least 1 year of foreign disclosure experience within the last 3 years</li> <li>Experience interpreting and applying DoD security and foreign disclosure policies and regulations</li> <li>Hands-on experience with federal security systems (e.g., DISS, MP-ICAM)</li> <li>Experience managing personnel security processes and clearance actions</li> <li>Knowledge of classified information handling, safeguarding, and accountability requirements</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-tempo environment</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting policy and executive-level documentation</li> <li>Ability to coordinate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders on sensitive matters</li> <li>Master’s degree in security management or a related field</li> <li>Prior experience as an FSO, Security Manager, CPSO, Special Security Representative, or Foreign Disclosure Representative in a DoD or national security environment</li> <li>Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams and multi-location operations</li> <li>Completion of DIA Foreign Disclosure in-residence training or equivalent advanced training</li> <li>Completion of CDSE coursework in industrial security, personnel security, derivative classification, foreign disclosure, and export controls</li> <li>Familiarity with National Disclosure Policy, DoD foreign disclosure guidance, and export control frameworks</li> <li>Experience supporting multinational, joint, or coalition operations</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on complex or sensitive issues</li> <li>Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, NCMS (ISP), or SFPC</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to: business considerations, local market, internal equity, candidate qualifications such as skills, education and experience.
