Job Overview:

The security guard is responsible for ensure that we maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and visitors by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Be willing and receptive to feed back.
• Be a proactive team player.
• Be recpetive to other duties as they arise.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude while on the job.

Education/Experience:

• 
  High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 
  Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items.
