Security Systems Installation Technician

This person will be responsible for performing skilled security system installations and assisting with supervising others with access control and CCTV installation. This individual&nbsp;<strong>must have at least 2 years of direct experience </strong>in installing and servicing Access Control, CCTV, and Burglar Alarms <strong>in a commercial setting</strong>.</p> <p><em>Digi's hourly rates are structured based on skill set. The below base rates are negotiable based on tenure/level of experience -&nbsp;</em></p> <p><em>Cabling Technicians (some commercial cabling knowledge): $20+ /hour BOE</em></p> <p><em>Experienced Technicians (cabling, CCTV, and access control knowledge): $24 + /hour BOE</em></p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Installation: </strong>Responsible for the professional installation of cabling, access control components, CCTV systems, and motion/intrusion/alarm systems. Lead by example by upholding the highest installation standards in the industry, and is expected to hold their team accountable to professional standards.</li> <li><strong>Hand Tools and Inventory</strong>: Safely operate various hand tools, work at heights on ladders and lifts, keep accurate truck inventory, and maintain safety standards on-site and off.</li> <li><strong>Documentation</strong>: Perform computer program entry as required and prepare documentation for the purpose of providing written support in compliance with regulations and/or conveying information.</li> <li><strong>Communication</strong>: Respectfully communicates with all coworkers and Project Lead on daily progress and documents all necessary information.</li> <li><strong>Work Planning</strong>: Responsible for reading and understanding technical drawings, assigned project documentation and work orders including scope of work.</li> <li><strong>Customer Service</strong>: Consistently communicate with the Project Coordinator, Branch Manager, and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>30 hours PTO plus 2 weeks vacation accrual rates</li> <li>3 weeks vacation accrual rate after first year of employment</li> <li>7 company-wide paid holidays throughout the year</li> <li>On-call and Travel pay bonuses</li> <li>401k plan w/corporate matching structure</li> <li>Full health benefits-medical, dental and vision</li> <li>Included life insurance, additional available for purchase</li> <li>Accident/critical illness insurance available for purchase</li> <li>Full set of Hilti tools</li> <li>All hand tools and consumables paid for by company</li> <li>Ample paid training and professional development opportunities</li> <li>Company laptop, company phone, uniforms and gear</li> <li>Yearly stipend for steel-toed boots and work pants</li> <li>Overtime and bonus pay</li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Ability to work from ladders or man lifts at extended heights.</li> <li>Must be able to differentiate colors.</li> <li>Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time and complete overhead work for long periods of time.</li> <li>Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.</li> </ul> <p><em>Disclaimer: This job description is not all encompassing of job responsibilities and is not in any way a binding document.
