Key Responsibilities:
- Provide focused 1:1 and group support to students with ADHD, helping them navigate academic challenges.
- Assist with behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials, ensuring they are accessible and engaging for students with ADHD.
- Support students in developing self-regulation techniques and coping strategies.
- Foster strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage confidence and independence.
- Monitor and report student progress to teachers and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience working with children or young people with ADHD is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong behaviour management skills, patience, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with ADHD strategies and interventions is a plus.
- Attributes: A positive, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting student success.
