Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical integration and CAD expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to designing and integrating mechanical systems that drive the future of transportation. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, production, and quality assurance), support cross-functional collaboration to optimize designs, and much more."

We’ll look to you for:

  • Designing and developing mechanical integration solutions for SEPTA projects. ,

  • Creating and updating CAD models and drawings to meet project requirements. ,

  • Ensuring compliance with engineering standards and specifications. ,

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address design challenges. ,

  • Conducting design reviews and providing technical input for improvements. ,

  • Supporting the validation and testing of mechanical systems. ,

  • Managing and maintaining design documentation and records. ,

  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks in mechanical integration processes. ,

  • Proactively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. ,

  • Providing technical support and expertise to project stakeholders."

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. ,

  • Experience or understanding of mechanical integration processes and systems. ,

  • Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or equivalent). ,

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design standards. ,

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams. ,

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. ,

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. ,

  • Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. ,
