Business Unit Overview

Operations: Our Operations unit is the engine room of Superloop - responsible for maintaining and supporting all of our products and internal technical infrastructure to ensure the best possible service to both our customers and our very own business. Our Operations unit is responsible for ensuring that the business has the technical capability and capacity to deliver services to all Superloop customers ranging from Home Broadband to International Wholesale.

➔ IT & Security: Our Security & IT team is the enabler of our information and connectivity systems that makes everything we do possible. The team looks after the technology lifecycle from when an employee starts to when they finish up with Superloop, including looking after the onboarding, connectivity and security of our systems and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide base level IT support to end users in Colombo for hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • Assist with user account management (password resets, access requests, permissions)

  • Support device setup and onboarding, including laptops, monitors, and peripherals

  • Perform basic troubleshooting for Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business applications

  • Assist with software installations and updates in line with IT policies

  • Help maintain accurate IT asset records

  • Provide remote support using tools such as RDP or remote assistance software

  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff

  • Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in the IT ticketing system

  • Support IT projects and initiatives (e.g. device migrations, Intune rollouts, onboarding/offboarding).

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical and telecommunication engineering

  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)

  • Understanding basic networking concepts (IP, DNS, VPN)

  • Exposure to hardware troubleshooting (laptops, monitors, peripherals)

  • Basic understanding of user account management (Active Directory / Azure AD)

  • Awareness of IT security best practices

  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Good customer service mindset

  • Ability to explain technical issues in a simple
