Settlement Negotiator

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Windsor Troy Law, LLP, is looking to add a&nbsp;<strong>Settlement Negotiator</strong> to our Personal Injury Department.&nbsp;<span class="ui-provider a b c d e f g h i j k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z ab ac ae af ag ah ai aj ak">The Personal Injury&nbsp;<strong>Settlement Negotiato</strong>r will be responsible for managing and negotiating the settlement of personal injury claims before they proceed to litigation. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, extensive experience with insurance companies, and a commitment to delivering excellent client service. We are looking for someone with previous experience handling and examining bodily injury claims for Auto Insurance companies or who has experience negotiating with Auto Insurance companies. (Plaintiff and/or Defense).</span></span></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Review the facts of the case, including medical records, police reports, witness statements, and other relevant documents.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the case to determine the best settlement strategy.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Engage in discussions with insurance companies, opposing counsel, or other parties to reach a fair settlement.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Present evidence and arguments to justify the compensation being sought for the client.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Resolve any remaining issues or disputes related to the settlement agreement.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Counter offers made by the opposing side, ensuring the client’s best interests are represented.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure that the settlement is fair and provides adequate compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering, and other damages.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Obtain expert reports that can substantiate the claims and help in maximizing the settlement value.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Estimate the potential compensation the client may be entitled to based on injuries, damages, and liability.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work both independently and as a member of a team.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;</span></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">At least 1 year of legal experience, specifically in Personal Injury&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel, edit, sort/filter and save spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">1+ years of office experience</span></li> <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Case Management Software</span></li> </ul> <p>Here at Windsor Troy Law, LLP, we offer medical, dental, and vision insurance.
