Sewing Operator

Overview

Use industrial single and double needle sewing machine to sew parts to/and construct mop heads.

Responsibilities

· Processes work orders for Mop Production.

· Obtains Control Plans from IFS.

· Constructs Mop head by sewing part to meet requirements and specifications.

· Packages product to specifications.

· Participates and works within ISO 9001-2008 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.

Other duties may be assigned.

Competencies

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain stationary; operate, activate, use, place, and retrieve. The employee is occasionally required to move, communicate, and discern. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Requirements

High school diploma or (GED) plus 3 months or more related experience or training
