Shipping and Receiving Clerk (part-time)

This is an office-based operation handling small, high-value electronic components (not a traditional warehouse). We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things correctly, communicates clearly, and has a growth mindset - this role is very learnable for a bright, computer-literate person who “owns” their work.</p> <div><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></div> <ul> <li>Process incoming and outgoing shipments (domestic and international) with a high level of accuracy</li> <li>Receive and inspect incoming goods; enter receipts and movements accurately in Microsoft Dynamics 365</li> <li>Prepare shipping documentation, labels, and customs paperwork as needed</li> <li>Process customer returns and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues</li> <li>Maintain accurate inventory through good daily habits (organization, scanning/entry discipline, discrepancy follow-up)</li> <li>Perform periodic cycle counts and support inventory organization</li> <li>Maintain and restock shipping supplies</li> <li>Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams</li> <li>Follow documented processes, and proactively suggest improvements when you see a better way</li> </ul> <div><strong>Success in this role looks like</strong></div> <ul> <li>Shipments go out on time, with correct parts and documentation</li> <li>Inventory records match reality because discrepancies are caught early and resolved</li> <li>You take ownership of open items and close the loop without needing repeated follow-up</li> <li>You learn quickly, ask good questions, and steadily improve how the operation runs</li> </ul> <div><strong>Qualifications</strong><br>Required:</div> <ul> <li>Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Excel)</li> <li>Strong attention to detail; you double-check your work and catch mistakes before they ship</li> <li>Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Clear, professional communication and a team-first attitude</li> <li>Willingness to learn new tools and follow process (we can train you on our systems)</li> </ul> <div>Preferred:</div> <ul> <li>Experience with shipping/receiving, fulfillment, or operations (small parts/electronics a plus)</li> <li>Experience with an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus)</li> <li>Experience with international shipping documentation is a plus</li> </ul> <div><strong>Job details</strong></div> <ul> <li>Part-time, in person (Seattle)</li> <li>Schedule: weekday daytime hours (specifics can be discussed)</li> </ul> <h2 class="yVFmQd cS4Vcb-pGL6qe-KUvarc">Benefits</h2> <ul class="zqeyHd"> <li class="LevrW">Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour</li> <li class="LevrW">Expected hours: 20 per week</li> <li class="LevrW">401(k)</li> <li class="LevrW">401(k) matching</li> <li class="LevrW">Dental insurance</li> <li class="LevrW">Health insurance</li> <li class="LevrW">Life insurance</li> <li class="LevrW">Paid time off</li> <li class="LevrW">Vision insurance</li> </ul> <p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p> <p>Principals only.
