Success in this position requires operational rigor, discretion, and a demonstrated ability to maintain compliance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p> <h4 data-section-id="r8dte7" data-start="673" data-end="692">Responsibilities</h4> <ul data-start="694" data-end="1574"> <li data-section-id="z24v2" data-start="694" data-end="826">Receive, inspect, log, and track inbound and outbound materials in accordance with internal controls and compliance requirements.</li> <li data-section-id="1z0wh4w" data-start="827" data-end="952">Handle U.S. Government-regulated and sensitive equipment in accordance with company procedures and applicable regulations.</li> <li data-section-id="15jhzvb" data-start="953" data-end="1040">Maintain accurate chain-of-custody records, inventory logs, and audit documentation.</li> <li data-section-id="126jbkj" data-start="1041" data-end="1160">Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and security teams to support the movement of sensitive materials.</li> <li data-section-id="mravln" data-start="1161" data-end="1271">Prepare packaging and documentation for domestic and international shipments involving regulated equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="1bb7555" data-start="1272" data-end="1367">Ensure proper storage, access control, and segregation of sensitive materials and equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="m329wz" data-start="1368" data-end="1456">Support internal and external audits related to inventory, compliance, and logistics.</li> <li data-section-id="1unh67n" data-start="1457" data-end="1574">Identify process gaps and recommend continuous improvement opportunities within shipping and receiving operations.</li> </ul> <h4 data-section-id="1cpq42l" data-start="1576" data-end="1599">Basic Qualifications</h4> <ul data-start="1601" data-end="2140"> <li data-section-id="1widcb" data-start="1601" data-end="1725">Demonstrated experience handling sensitive or controlled equipment or materials in a corporate or industrial environment.</li> <li data-section-id="5ay0qs" data-start="1726" data-end="1822">Strong attention to detail with a proven record of accurate documentation and record-keeping.</li> <li data-section-id="ef9co3" data-start="1823" data-end="1897">Experience with inventory management systems, logs, and tracking tools.</li> <li data-section-id="1y26sqb" data-start="1898" data-end="1972">Ability to follow established procedures and controls with consistency.</li> <li data-section-id="i4h0vs" data-start="1973" data-end="2074">Effective communication skills to coordinate across production, engineering, and operations teams.</li> <li data-section-id="2dk3dn" data-start="2075" data-end="2140">High level of professionalism, discretion, and accountability.</li> </ul> <h4 data-section-id="nej4dz" data-start="2142" data-end="2176">Preferred Skills and Experience</h4> <ul data-start="2178" data-end="2595"> <li data-section-id="11peeum" data-start="2178" data-end="2273">Prior experience with U.S. Government-regulated, export-controlled, or classified materials.</li> <li data-section-id="1s4cr7k" data-start="2274" data-end="2373">Familiarity with packaging and transportation requirements for sensitive or regulated equipment.</li> <li data-section-id="rvmsx6" data-start="2374" data-end="2453">Experience supporting audits related to logistics, inventory, or compliance.</li> <li data-section-id="vk12qx" data-start="2454" data-end="2543">Background in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.</li> <li data-section-id="1lpf0sb" data-start="2544" data-end="2595">Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.</li> </ul> <h4>Additional Requirements:</h4> <ul> <li>Physical effort including standing, lifting, and carrying equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted.</li> <li>Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime and/or weekends as needed.</li> </ul> <h4>Equal Opportunity Employer</h4> <p>General Matter is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with General Matter is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.</p> <h4>Compensation and Benefits&nbsp;</h4> <p>Pay range:&nbsp;$25.00 - 36.00/hour</p> <p>Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.&nbsp;<span data-teams="true">Please note that the stated salary range is an estimate and may be adjusted based on market conditions, business needs, or other factors.</span> In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision &amp; dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.</p>
